સમાજીક કાર્યકર્તા અન્ના હજારેએ બુધવારે પોતાની ભૂખ હડતાલ બીજા દિવસે ચાલુ રાખતા કોંગ્રેસની એ વાત સંદર્ભે ટીકા કર છે કે તેમના આંદોલનને બિનજરૂરી અને સમય પહેલાનું ગણાવીને લોકોને ગુમરાહ કરી રહી છે.
લોકપાલને વ્યાપક શક્તિઓ આપનારા ભ્રષ્ટાચાર નિરોધક કાયદાને લાગુ કરવાની માગણી કરી રહેલા હજારે (72)એ કહ્યું છે કે કોંગ્રેસનું નિવેદન લોકોને ગુમરાહ કરી રહ્યું છે. આ આંદોલન બિનજરૂરી કેવી રીતે છે અને આ સમયથી પહેલા કેવી રીતે છે, રાષ્ટ્રને 42 વર્ષથી આ પ્રકારના કાયદાની જરૂરત છે. સરકાર તેને લાગુ કેમ કરી રહી નથી?
તેમણે કહ્યું હતું કે તેઓ ત્યાં સુધી પોતાની ભૂખ હડતાલ પૂરી કરશે નહીં, જ્યાં સુધી સરકાર આ વિધેયકનો મુસદ્દો તૈયાર કરવામાં નાગરીકોની ભાગીદારી પર સંમત ન થઈ જાય.
એમ પુછવામાં આવતા કે શું ભાજપ પણ ભ્રષ્ટાચાર નિરોધક અભિયાનમાં બુધવારે સામેલ થવા જઈ રહ્યું છે, તેના સંદર્ભે હજારેએ કહ્યું હતું કે જે રાષ્ટ્રવ્યાપી આંદોલન શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે, તેનો પાર્ટી લાભ ઉઠાવી રહી છે.
હજારેએ કહ્યું છે કે પરંતુ, તે એક રાજકીય પાર્ટી છે અને તેની ઈચ્છા પ્રમાણે કામ કરવા માટે આઝાદ છે. પહેલા પણ, જ્યારે તેમણે ભાજપની સરકારમાં ભ્રષ્ટાચાર વિરોધી આંદોલન કર્યું હતું, ત્યારે કોંગ્રેસે તેમનું સમર્થન કર્યું હતું. હવે વિપક્ષોનો વારો છે.
